| | Annemarie de Bie Annemarie was born in the Netherlands of a musical family. She grew up on the tropical island of Aruba. After returning to Europe Annemarie spent considerable time in Ireland, England and Wales. Playing with many other musicians, Annemarie mastered the bodhrán, concert flute and guitar to accompany her voice. For six months she taught the bodhrán at a music school in Avonmouth, Bristol. Annemarie now lives in Ezinge and teaches privately and in workshops.

| | Fling In 2005 Annemarie joined folk band Fling as their singer, flautist and percussionist. Since February 2009 Fling is playing a series of concerts in theaters all over the Netherlands. Other projects
Annemarie has been working with a number of people in music and theatre over the years. Annemarie also works with Jaap de Graaf from Theatregroup Reysburo Zwaardekoper as a supporting musician. She has worked with some of the actors of Theatergroep Suburbia for "De Manke" a Dutch version of "The cripple of Inishmaan" by Michael McDonagh. With Floor Goettsch from theatre group Losse Planken, Annemarie has supported and collaborated on several musical plays for children and occasionally assists at poetry evenings. Recently Annemarie has started working with "Zaal vol Verhaal" playback theatre by Rob Heiligers. "Zaal vol verhaal" is improvisational theatre that plays back stories from the audience. No performance is ever the same and the actors cannot practise in advance. Worth a visit! | |
